Custom football shin guards for teams and clubs

One club design across the squad, each pair printed with the player's first name, squad number and a left or right mark. For 20–100 pairs of standard printed guards, production is usually completed in 1–3 days after artwork approval, and a school or club can be invoiced in its own name.

Send the pair count and destination first; names, numbers, measurements and artwork follow at the artwork stage.

Custom-printed shin guards: US$12–15 per pair, with custom printing, shipping, VAT and other import charges included. Only the applicable EU €3 customs duty is extra. Your quotation gives the exact price.

Bulk orders. Pricing and who covers customs duty can be negotiated; any change to the standard price inclusions is stated on your quotation before you order. Socks, sleeves, sets and optional packaging are quoted separately. See the EU duty details.

Six printed shin guards with names, numbers and photos arranged around a football on turf

For a first quotation. Send the number of pairs, product or surface, size counts if known, destination, required arrival date and whether your artwork is ready. A full player roster and private photos can wait until you agree the next step with the desk.

What you get. One design across the squad. Each pair printed with that player's first name, squad number and a left or right mark, and supplied as a left and a right guard.

What your quotation covers. Packaging, shipping and timing. There is no minimum: a set is quoted at the size of your squad.

Wangyudian prints and supplies football (soccer) shin guards to order, from Guangzhou. A team set is one of four order types: single personalised pairs, team and club sets, retailer stock and full custom. Each is quoted separately.

You deal with one English-language sales desk, from your first message to despatch.

Plan a team set

For a team set, one approved layout can be used across the squad, with the name and number set for each pair. You see the design draft before printing.

The honeycomb surface is a moulded hexagonal relief under the print. Smooth is the other full-size surface. Compare both in how customisation works.

How a squad order runs

  1. Start with the quotation. Agree the product, pair count, destination and timing. When you move to artwork preparation, send the club design and one line per player.
  2. Review the design draft. Wangyudian lays out the club design as one layout for the squad and sends a design draft before printing, with every player's first name and squad number listed. Read each one, and the colours and positions, then request any changes before approval. See the design preparation and fee policy before asking for further design work.
  3. Approve in writing. Approve the draft in your chat or email thread. Printing starts from that approval.
  4. Printing. The approved design is printed by sublimation into the front shell of each guard.
  5. One delivery. Give one delivery address for the whole set. Packing for a team set is quoted as a team carton.

For 20–100 pairs of standard printed guards, production is usually completed in 1–3 days after artwork approval, and shipping usually takes 7–15 days after dispatch. Transit times by destination are on the shipping page.

A team set can be bagged per player, with a packing list; ask for it with your enquiry and it is named on your quotation.

For a larger club order, agree a sample before the squad run to see the print, colour and fit. One pair or a few pairs go directly to production after artwork approval, without a separate physical sample. A sample is quoted all-in, the pair and its shipping in one figure. When a production order follows, the sample fee may be credited back; the terms are agreed on the quotation.

Screen colour and printed colour can differ; a larger-order sample lets you compare them before the main run.

Your roster for artwork preparation

Download the Excel roster

When you agree the artwork-preparation step with the desk, fill in one row per player and send the sheet in your WhatsApp or email thread. Add rows as needed. For an initial quote, use the team enquiry form with pair counts and sizing status.

One line per player is enough:

First name · squad number · shin length in centimetres

Measure the shin length standing, from just below the kneecap to just above the ankle bone, and give the figure in centimetres. Add each player's age with the line, because the desk uses both to name the size.

You do not need to send the left and right marks. Wangyudian prints an L and an R on the pair, and full-size guards are supplied as a left and a right.

A squad of mixed sizes is still one order. Send the whole list together and the desk returns the size mix with the quotation.

Full-size guards are XS 14 × 7.5 cm, S 17 × 8 cm and M 19 × 9 cm, length × width, measured flat. Those are the guard's own measurements, not the shin's. The full charts are in the size guide.

Proofreading a team design

Use the fictional worked roster and proofing list when reading names, numbers, crop and left/right placement. It does not assign sizes or provide an order form.

For your own order, send the actual roster, each player's shin measurement and age or age group, and the desk names the reference, size and surface. Your quotation states packing, price inclusions, shipping service and timing.

Sizes across an age group

Kids usually take full-size XS or S, teenagers S, and adults M. That is guidance: the measured shin length decides, so send a figure for every player rather than a single size for the squad.

When a player sits between two sizes, ask the desk before you order. Do not round the measurement yourself.

Mini guards are a separate format, in Mini XS 8 × 5 cm, Mini S 10 × 6 cm and Mini M 12 × 8 cm. Compare mini shin guards by their measurements, and follow the size guide to send each player's shin length and age group for a size recommendation.

What the guards are made of

A PP shell with a soft EVA foam liner filling the back. The front shell is printed and the black liner sits inside the shell rim. Care: do not wash the guards or expose them to high heat. Country of origin: China.

Values not listed here are stated on your quotation.

Crests, photos and rights

Send only images, names and logos you own or have permission to use. If a design looks like it belongs to someone else, the desk will ask before printing.

A club crest or team badge is printed when the club asks for it. Send the original vector file, or the largest image file your designer gave you.

Photos can go on the guards too: a player photo, the same photo on both guards, or two different photos, one on each. The photo, the name or the number may each be left out. You do not need print-ready artwork, because Wangyudian lays out your photo, name and number and sends the draft.

Names can be resized or split over lines, with no fixed character limit. Send each name as copyable text in the language you want printed, then read every spelling and layout in the draft. Read the artwork guide.

Paying as a club or school

The seller named on your quotation and proforma is Guangzhou Wangyu Dian Trading Co., Ltd., or RyanFulfil, the fulfilment company behind the desk, where that suits your order.

Quotations are issued in USD, EUR, GBP or SGD; other currencies on request.

Payment is by bank transfer to the seller named on your proforma. Bank details are issued once, on the proforma, and never changed by email; if you receive a changed account, message the desk on WhatsApp before you pay.

Schools, clubs and other organisations can be invoiced in the organisation's name. The receiving account is in the seller's own name, and a purchase order can be addressed to that seller.

Tell us your destination and any documentation requirements with your enquiry.

Extra pairs later

A player who joins after the set is printed can be added as a single personalised pair, quoted the same way as a one-pair order. Wangyudian fulfils single-pair personalised orders.

Wangyudian keeps designs for six months. Each repeat order starts a new six-month retention period. For a repeat order using a retained design, you do not need to send the artwork again, but Wangyudian sends a new design draft for your approval before production. Read how design retention works.

Keep the approved draft from the squad run as your own reference when asking for a fresh quotation.

  • Identify the previous design, catalogue reference and surface. Say how many extra pairs you need.
  • Give the destination, packing and required arrival date again; ask the desk for the current price and timing.
  • For a new player, send the exact name and number, plus shin length and age group for sizing.
  • Point out every change, including the badge, photo, layout, surface or size. Approve the new pair's draft before production.
