Shin guard sizes in centimetres, and what to measure
Full-size guards run from XS 14 × 7.5 cm to M 19 × 9 cm, and mini guards from Mini XS 8 × 5 cm to Mini M 12 × 8 cm. Measure the shin, send the figure and the player's age, and the desk names the size.
Which sizes exist. Full-size guards are made in XS, S and M; M is the largest. Mini guards are labelled Mini XS, Mini S and Mini M.
What to measure. Measure the shin length in centimetres, standing. Send that figure and the player's age to the desk.

How the mini guards taper
A mini guard is wider at the top than at the bottom.

Mini M is 12 cm long; its top and bottom widths are stated on your quotation.
How to measure
Guidance by age. Kids usually take full-size XS or S, teenagers S, and adults M. Mini XS, Mini S and Mini M are a smaller format with their own chart below, not the kids' end of the full-size range. Measure the shin to choose, and ask the desk when a player sits between two sizes.
The chart gives the guard's own length and width. Your shin measurement is longer than the guard: send it to the desk and the desk names the size.

- Shin length. Measure standing, from just below the kneecap to just above the ankle bone. Give the figure in centimetres.
- Send both. Put the shin length and the age in your message, and the desk names the size on your quotation.
- Between two sizes. Ask the desk before you order. Do not round the measurement yourself.
- Team orders. Send one line per player: name, squad number and shin length. Wangyudian prints the left and right marks; you do not need to list them. See the team and club page.

Surfaces
- Smooth. A gloss surface. Made in XS, S, M and Mini M.
- Honeycomb. A moulded hexagonal relief under the print. Made in XS, S and M.
- Matte (frosted). Frosted is Wangyudian's word for the matte surface. Made in Mini XS, Mini S and Mini M.
Smooth and honeycomb guards have the same thickness; the difference is their surface style. Frosted guards are thinner and mainly intended for collections and keepsakes. Name the size and surface in your message, and ask for the exact shell and foam thicknesses for that option before ordering.
